What our values and principles in care look like

Fostering trust from the outset, we carefully match Service Users and caregivers to build long-lasting bonds. Our staff are there to listen to our Service Users and to support their preferences. 

To ensure quality, we professionally assess every Service User’s needs to create a personalized care plan. We maintain close contact with other people who support our Service Users (family, friends, and other healthcare professionals), keeping meticulous records that are easily accessible. We believe that we can offer the best value-based care if we all work together.

When it comes to compassion and respect, we make sure to offer only the level of care that our Service Users are comfortable with. Our caregivers build mutual companionship with every Service Users to understand their wishes and to help them achieve their goals. 

Underpinning our values in care are the service standards that we offer across the board: 

  • Round the clock, 24/7 care, and support

  • A thorough Personal Care Plan for every Service User

  • Care delivered by highly-trained Caregivers

What makes our homecare different? 

We are responsive – Service Users and their families can contact the Daily Living Care team at any time. Care managers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. Our Service Users’ wellbeing is always our top priority. 

We are selective – We employ only the best caregivers whose values in care marry up with our own. We afford every member of staff thorough training before carefully matching them with the right Service Users.

We are flexible – If a Service User or family member is unsatisfied with a particular caregiver, all it takes is a phone call to make a change. We have a large team of trained and experienced caregivers and can match our Service User with another suitable member to meet their needs and goals.

We are protected – We carry all of the necessary liability insurance coverage so that all of our Service Users and their families are fully protected. To ensure only the highest quality staff support our Service Users, all our caregivers are employed directly by their local office. All staff undergo rigorous Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and reference checks, together with ongoing training. For this reason, we will not use agency staff.
